A colleague at work
co-runs a youth enrichment program
in his spare time

They call it Khupuka.

A concert was planned
Various groups appeared
With the promise
That there would be sponsors..

The day arrived.
The sponsors didn't.

By the looks of the folk
around the area called Harare
they don't often see an mlunghu
especially on a motorbike!

Khupeka do a great job of keeping kids off the street, giving them social skills, a work ethic aiming towards excellence, teaching singing and drama. They cater to young people from the age of 6 to 16.
